NATCA Election: Agbonlahor promises quality engagement

 



LAGOS - A Presidential contestant of the Nigerian Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA), Rev Felix Agbonlahor, has promised  quality engagements with other aviation professionals and unions in the Air Traffic control sub-section of the industry to engender industry growth and development. 


A statement by Agbonlahor, who is also the current General Secretary of NATCA said he would ensure that the health and welfare of air traffic controllers became top priority harmonised with the standards obtainable in other parts of the world.

According Agbonlahor, every controller will be well trained and given the right equipment (CNS) and environment to blossom without any form of prejudices. 


Agbonlahor vowed to ensure that Air traffic controller profession and professionals maintain and expand the strategic advantage within the agencies.


The NATCA Presidential candidate said, discipline and professionalism will become the hallmark of the profession and that ranks and orderliness is maintained within the system and to give Nigerian Air Traffic controllers a strong voice and presence in IFATCA in particular and ICAO in general. 


"I promise to continue to work diligently and purposefully towards every issue raised with the future members of the Executive Council" 


Agbonlahor noted that the past six years has been a learning curve, days of facing the rigors with vigor, days of confronting seemingly insurmountable challenges, digging deep and making gains through pains saying more battles to be fought, more victories to be won and more territories to be conquered.

He further said he will be a bridge between different generations of ATCOs in order to give everyone a sense of belonging; listening and attending to both spoken and unspoken words erstwhile unheard; as well as recognizing potentials where others see despair.


"What I have done over time with your support is good and I will continue to strive to do better. What we do now will inspire our future. So let us hold hands and make our association a greater one" he pleaded.

Dati lauds FAAN MD for prioritising safety trainings

Editor 1 LAGOS - An aviation professional, Mr Yakubu Dati, has applauded the Managing Director of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs Olubunmi Kuku, for prioritising training of aviation professionals to match current industry needs. Dati, a former General Manager, Public Affairs, FAAN, made the commendation on Friday in Lagos. Alleged 150m fraud: Brila media condemns malicious campaign orchestrated by former employees

Editor 1 Brila Media Group, a leading sports radio network, has revealed a tale of deceit and betrayal by former employees who were allegedly  involved in over a N150 million fraud scheme.
