CFAO Nigeria appoints Ayoko as group company secretary

Mr. Ayokunle Ayoko, Group Company Secretary/Head of Legal and Chief Compliance Officer, CFAO Nigeria Ltd.


LAGOS - CFAO Nigeria Ltd., key player in mobility, healthcare, consumer, infrastructure and energy sectors, has appointed Mr. Ayokunle Ayoko, as its Group Company Secretary/Head of Legal and Chief Compliance Officer.


According to a statement, the appointment, effective July, 2023, revealed that Ayoko left International Breweries PLC as company secretary to resume his current position.

"Professionally, Ayoko has almost two decades of multi-industry experience in company secretarial, legal advisory regulatory compliance, human resources management, corporate governance, and strategy.


"Ayoko has worked with Synergy Attornies, Pan African Capital Plc, LPC Solicitors, First Bank, and FBN Holdings Plc and International Breweries PLC.


"He was Company Secretary to FBN Insurance Limited & FBN General Insurance Limited (now Sanlam Insurance Limited & Sanlam General Insurance Limited respectively), and FBN Insurance Brokers Limited.


"Ayoko, who is also Co-Founder, Kaizen Academy (Nigeria) Limited had served as Company Secretary/Legal Adviser to Berger Paints Plc and as Company Secretary/General Counsel to International Breweries Plc between 2018 and July 2023," it read.

Ayoko won the 2019 Nigerian Legal Awards’ “40 under 40” award, the 2022 Africa Forty Under Forty Awards (Xodus Communications/Ministry of Arts and Culture, Ghana). He also won the 2020 Modern Governance 100 award, and the 2022 Global & Ethics Leader award (Diligent Corporation, New York).

Dati lauds FAAN MD for prioritising safety trainings

Editor 1 LAGOS - An aviation professional, Mr Yakubu Dati, has applauded the Managing Director of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs Olubunmi Kuku, for prioritising training of aviation professionals to match current industry needs. Alleged 150m fraud: Brila media condemns malicious campaign orchestrated by former employees

Editor 1 Brila Media Group, a leading sports radio network, has revealed a tale of deceit and betrayal by former employees who were allegedly  involved in over a N150 million fraud scheme.
