NECA confers Keyamo "Visible Impact in Public Service" award




ABUJA - The Nigerian Employers' Consultative Association (NECA) has Conferred on the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo, SAN, with the "Visible Impact In Public Service" Award.


The Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Honourable Minister, Mr Tunde Moshood disclosed in a statement on Tuesday.


NECA, the umbrella organisation of all employers in the private sector in Nigeria, over the weekend, gave the award at NECA's  annual excellence award celebrating exceptional contributions to national development and public service.

Moshood said that the award recognised Keyamo’s significant strides in the aviation and aerospace sector. 


According to him, since assuming office, the Minister has implemented transformative policies, including enhancing infrastructure, improving operational efficiency, and fostering international partnerships to strengthen Nigeria's aviation ecosystem.


Representing Keyamo at the event was his Special Assistant, Janet Oputa, who proudly received the plaque on his behalf. 


In her remarks, she conveyed the Minister's gratitude to NECA for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to driving sustainable growth and innovation in the sector.


“The Honourable Minister is deeply honoured by this recognition and remains resolute in his mission to reposition Nigeria’s aviation industry as a global standard. He dedicates this award to the hardworking teams in the ministry and all stakeholders who share in this vision,” said Oputa.

The audience lauded Keyamo's achievements, emphasizing the positive impact of his leadership on Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace landscape. His efforts to promote transparency, improve service delivery, and create an enabling environment for stakeholders have not gone unnoticed.
