Yuletide: Aero Contractors cuts fares to N80,000

LAGOS - Aero Contractors on Tuesday announced a slash in airfares to N80,000 for all routes within the country as against the N110, 000 charged before. 

The Managing Director of the airline, Capt. Ado Sanusi stated that the idea behind the fare reduction is to give back to customers during this economic downturn.

Mr Sanusi made the announcement while speaking with newsmen in Lagos on Tuesday.


According to him the promo is expected to last until January 2025.

In addition to the fare reduction, Aero Contractors is also preparing for fund injection and seeking for new investors.

“We know what the people are going through due to the economic hardship and the high prices of tickets.

“We at Aero Contractors have concluded to announce the Christmas initiative which is pocket-friendly. These prices are designed to allow Nigerians to travel to all destinations without paying too much.

“We are in the spirit of giving, which Christmas embodies. We believe that as a company, this is a very old story of understanding its customers. We believe it is time for us to give back to our customers,’’ he said.

Dati lauds FAAN MD for prioritising safety trainings

Editor 1 LAGOS - An aviation professional, Mr Yakubu Dati, has applauded the Managing Director of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs Olubunmi Kuku, for prioritising training of aviation professionals to match current industry needs. Dati, a former General Manager, Public Affairs, FAAN, made the commendation on Friday in Lagos. Alleged 150m fraud: Brila media condemns malicious campaign orchestrated by former employees

Editor 1 Brila Media Group, a leading sports radio network, has revealed a tale of deceit and betrayal by former employees who were allegedly  involved in over a N150 million fraud scheme. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brila Group, Ms Debbie Larry-Izamoje, while addressing newsmen in Lagos said that the individuals, who were part of the company's team for several years, allegedly orchestrated a sophisticated web of lies, diverting funds, fabricating invoices and manipulating the system to embezzle over N150 million. Debbie, however, said that when the alleged criminal activities were discovered, the former employees resorted to a malicious campaign to discredit Brila Media and its founder, Dr. Larry Izamoje.
